Let’s talk ↓
Mayara Sousa

Hi, I'm Mayara!

Born in Brazil, I’ve called a few different European countries home over the years, finally landing (for now) in Prague. My background is more patchwork than polished: I’ve worked in retail and customer service, but design has always been the thread tying it all together. I taught myself Photoshop as a kid, did my first freelance gig as a teenager, and when it came time to choose a university, Multimedia Arts was the first thing that made sense.

In the past two years, generative AI has become part of my daily process, not just as a trendy tool, but as something genuinely useful (and, honestly, a little misunderstood). Watching AI turn from niche to buzzword—and seeing how many people still worry it’ll “take our jobs”—is what pushed me to pursue an MBA in Artificial Intelligence for Business. I want to help demystify it, to make the future less intimidating (and a lot more interesting). Who knows, maybe this all grows into a boutique consultancy someday. I like to keep my options, and my curiosity, wide open.

If we work together, you’ll also meet my two cats (they’re part of the deal), and maybe catch me sharing a project on YouTube or Instagram—though I’ll admit, “content creator” is a title I still feel too inconsistent to claim. Above all, I try to keep things honest, transparent, and low on the buzzwords. If you care about building something real, and want a collaborator who sees you as a person, I think we’ll get along.

What I actually do:

  • Brand Strategy
  • Visual Identity
  • Website Design & Development (WordPress & Shopify)

Most projects these days include a bit of AI in the mix. Sometimes as part of the process, sometimes as inspiration. I’m transparent about how I use these tools, and I’m not here to “disrupt” your business. My goal is to help you build a brand that feels like you (not a copy of whatever’s trending), using what’s genuinely useful and leaving the rest.

If you’re a musician, a beauty brand, an indie founder, or just a person with a story: I’m interested. What I care about most is working with people who want to make something real, even if you’re still figuring out what that looks like.

Ready when you are

Whether you want to work together, ask a question, or just send a cat meme, the easiest way to reach me is through this form.

Obrigada! Fique de olho no seu email, em breve entrarei em contato.
Ops! Algo deu errado.

Things People (Actually) Ask Me

Can you help if I’m not sure exactly what I need?

Yes, that’s actually pretty common. If you know you want to “do something” with your brand or website but aren’t sure what, we can figure it out together. You don’t need to have everything sorted before reaching out.

What does working together look like?

First, we’ll hop on a discovery call, just to chat and figure out what you really need. Then, I’ll put together a proposal and outline the scope, timeline, and budget. Once that feels right, we sign a contract and you make a 50% deposit to secure your spot. Most projects wrap up in about one or two months, depending on the scope. If your project needs extra hands—like copywriters or developers—I’ve got a whole network of people I trust, and I’ll pull them in when it makes sense. You always know who’s involved and why.

Are you available for consulting, workshops, or speaking gigs?

Sometimes, yes! I love talking about design, AI, and what it means to build an ethical digital future. If you want me to run a workshop or give a talk, just get in touch and we’ll see what’s possible.

Can I see more of your work?

Of course. I share some projects here on my website, but you can also find me on Instagram and YouTube (every now and then). I’m always happy to send you specific examples if you reach out.

How do you actually use AI in your work?

Mostly, I use AI to help with research, brainstorming, and streamlining some of the repetitive parts of the overall process. I never use it to “auto-generate” a project or replace the human side of what I do. It’s a tool, not the whole process, and I’ll always be clear about what’s me and what’s machine.

Are your cats available for meetings?

They’re not very professional, but yes, they do occasionally show up on camera.
