Tavla makes tools for getting your attention back: not against screens, against the feed. The first app, Tavla Block for iPhone, launched on the App Store in October 2026. You pick the apps that take your hours, start a session, and decide for yourself how hard it should be to end it early. I set the direction, designed the brand and the product, wrote the app in Swift and SwiftUI with Claude Code, and took it through three rounds of App Review. A Mac writing app and a shared subscription are next.

I design and build digital products for startups and boutique businesses, from brand systems and UX/UI through to shipping on WordPress and Shopify, with custom PHP and MySQL when a product calls for it. Recent work includes Mimoo Baby, a baby-shower gifting platform with two account types, social sign-on and custom order-to-account logic, and EverSafe, a first-aid training platform with a four-step booking flow. A full project runs six to ten weeks end to end, because design and build happen in the same pass rather than across a handover. When a client needs operations as well as a product, I build those too: Shelf Beauty, a Brazilian beauty-tools brand, runs its team, its WhatsApp customer service and its partner-studio sales on a PHP and MySQL platform I built, wired to Shopify, Twilio and OpenAI (14.4% of shoppers who get its abandoned-cart messages go on to buy), and transactional email on every recent project goes through Resend. I work in git, design component systems rather than one-off screens, document them so someone else can build against them, and keep the front end semantic and accessible. I build with AI in the loop (Claude Code, Codex) and can read, shape, and debug the code I ship.

Sole designer for almost three years on a no-code mobile app builder for small businesses, working with a product manager and the iOS and Android developers. It started with new templates for the apps the platform generated and grew into an 18-month redesign: I interviewed close to 100 users and analyzed support tickets, then consolidated five-plus conflicting design systems into one and redesigned the flows from the landing page to publishing an app. Alongside the product I designed the email marketing and the day-to-day design work across product and marketing. Support tickets about app submission dropped by 30%, and the company was acquired in 2023.

Executed high-revenue marketing campaigns for onboard retail platforms. Created aligned visual assets and oversaw merchandising to maintain a premium brand experience across a global, multicultural audience.
